Mert Kizilay contributed as Art Director to the main title sequence and prologue for Carnival Row. Developed around the show’s layered world of species, mythology, and social tension, the sequence frames its characters like museum specimens before gradually opening into a larger cityscape. The work was later nominated for the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Main Title Design.

For Carnival Row, the title design treats fantasy as taxonomy, memory, and spectacle at once. Mert Kizilay’s contribution as Art Director helped shape a sequence that feels ornate, atmospheric, and carefully composed, moving from specimen-like observation to a broader vision of the world beyond.
